Slow Going

The acid solution has been somewhat of a disappointment.

It works admirably in its primary role as a rust remover, but it seems to make the metal far more succeptable to future rust. About three days after a full de-rust treatment, some of the metal is once again sparsely covered.

For the bigger pieces sandblasting would probably work far better, but for the nuts and bolts I had planned to use this stuff. I've seen some other methods for getting rust off apart from abrasives, so that seems to be the next move.

Purchases
Motorcycle cover (EBay) - $30 (to keep the damn sprinklers from showering the bike every morning and creating even more rust)
